At conception, the Harrisburg Youth Festival was created to offer an opportunity for families, friends, youth and young adults of the Dauphin County area to enjoy a time of fun, laughter, and entertainment without the burden of worrying about safety and life responsibilities. As we embark upon our second year, we have decided to broaden our view and add even more fun and development for the community as well as a greater opportunity to impact and empower the youth of this area.
This year, we are moving from just a carnival to a city wide community day free of charge and this year's youth fest will feature so much more to include entertainment for all ages, empowerment, community services, volunteering opportunities, youth and young adult vendors, and more. In addition, alongside an influential organization DBA Academy of Arts & Development, we are offering a weekend of motivation and mentorship through a Teen Summit and an intricate Xperience with featured impactful and high-profile guests. We want to change the narrative of youth organizations in Dauphin County, and shift the paradigm so our community can flourish and excel in the areas of arts, academics and innovation.
